‘Healthy Nutrition’ does not mean that we abandon our favourite foods!
Our favourite recipes can easily be adapted to a balanced cooking method and provide a healthy alternative to our diet, as the way we cook dramatically affects both the total calories of each meal and its nutritional value.
If we were to attempt to define cooking, we would say that cooking is the application of heat to foods, aimed at bringing about the necessary physical and chemical changes in them, so that they become consumable. Foods are cooked for various reasons:

- To make them softer and easier to digest.

While cooking at home can be considered one of the most important factors contributing to a balanced diet, it often hides small caloric and not just ‘traps’. The amount of fats, sugar, and the way we use them in cooking play a decisive role in both the quality and caloric content of our dish!
We often hear from both experts and non-experts how important proper nutrition is for staying healthy and fit. However, besides what we choose to eat, how we shop, store, and ultimately cook our foods is also very important. Proper nutrition. Healthy cooking is not some complicated matters that require us to dedicate time and effort to them. In fact, there are small secrets, very easy for us to understand and eventually incorporate into our daily lives, that help us cook and eat healthier and tastier.
