Salad Dressings: An Extra Boost for Salads
Salad dressings transform simple greens into vibrant meals. Creamy ranch adds richness, while zesty vinaigrette brightens flavours. Asian sesame brings nutty depth, and lemon-tahini offers creamy tang. Healthy oils provide good fats, and herbs add freshness. Choose light options or indulge in bold flavours—dressings make every salad exciting and satisfying!

Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
1 teaspoon mustard or ground mustard seeds,
125ml oil
60ml wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, or lemon juice
Spices
Herbs
½ onion
Preparation:
- Mix the mustard with the oil and vinegar.
- Add the spices, herbs, and chopped onion.

Vinaigrette with Tomato
Ingredients:
1 cup onion-free vinaigrette
2 tablespoons ketchup
Oregano
Paprika
Preparation:
- Mix the vinaigrette with the ketchup.
- Add oregano and paprika.

Dressing from Yogurt
Ingredients:
2 parts mayonnaise
1 part yogurt or buttermilk
Fresh or dried herbs, chopped
Onion
Garlic
Preparation:
- Mix the mayonnaise with the yogurt or buttermilk.
- Add the herbs, onion, and garlic.

Dressing Diet
Ingredients:
- 4 tomatoes
- ½ tablespoon lemon juice
- Pepper
- Fresh basil
- Oregano
Preparation:
- Peel the tomatoes, chop them into pieces, puree them, and strain them.
- Mix the tomato puree with lemon juice.
- Add pepper, basil, and oregano.

Dressing for “Louisiana” Salad
Ingredients:
– 3 tablespoons homemade aioli
– 2 tablespoons sour cream
– 2 tablespoons ketchup
– 1 teaspoon spicy mustard
– 2 green onions
– Cayenne pepper
– 2 drops Tabasco
– Wild horseradish
– Salt
Preparation:
- Mix the aioli (garlic mayonnaise) with the sour cream, ketchup, lemon juice, and mustard.
- Clean the green onions, finely chop them and mix them with the dressing.
- Add cayenne pepper, Tabasco, wild horseradish, and salt.
- Place the dressing in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving with mixed salad.
