Who Can Apply

Birth Certificate in Cyprus: You must be the person named on the certificate.
Or you can apply if you are a parent or legal guardian.
In some cases, a legal representative can apply too.

Where to Apply

Go to the District Administration Office in the area of birth.
You can also apply at the Citizen Service Centres (KEP).
Each office handles local births.
You must apply in the correct district.

What You Need

Bring a valid ID or passport.
If you apply for someone else, show proof of your relationship.
Also bring any supporting documents.
