Pyrgos Limassol Municipal Park

It is situated at the entrance of the village, opposite the municipal offices of the Pyrgos. In the park there is a restaurant where you can enjoy freshly made snacks or a nice meal ideal for a family out since there is a play ground for the kids to play with swings, climbing structures, seesaws, slides and other games.

They are all close to each other so there is no need to run between them. The rest of the park is covered with green grass with benches for sitting and enjoy a nice ice cream in the summer or a hot drink in the spring and autumn.

The restaurant is definitely recommended for families with children as there are plenty of opportunities to play and have a good time.

Service staff is extremely friendly. Fast service and the food is consistently delicious and well seasoned, the portions are more than adequate.

In the evening TV screens are brought outside for people to view various football games etc.

The food is fresh and of excellent quality, great customer service and the place is very airy and inviting. Would highly recommend, especially families with children and larger groups of people looking for a relaxing place to spend the day.

The Park for Communal Activities

The Park is also used for other activities such as Music Festivals and all kind of communal festivities.

The restaurant is open every day offering a large variety of authentic Cypriot dishes at reasonable prices, snacks, soft drinks, ice cream and alcoholic drinks.

Take a Walk in the Village

Wondering in the narrow streets of the village you will find other cafes restaurants and tavernas with live music and the entertainment continues till late at night. Also you can enjoy a Greek coffee at the local traditional kafeneio. Pyrgos Village has everything to please everyone. A visit to the village is worth it and learns of the history a culture of the Cypriot life way back in centuries.

Visit the Archaeological Site and Other Landmarks

You can also visit the archaeological site just outside the village and the ancient watermill. The main Church of the village is dedicated to Virgin Mary and not far from the main church you will find Panagia Neroforousa, The architecture of Panagia Neroforousa is a stunning example of Byzantine designand was build around the 13th century.
